See the Galaxy S23 and Book3 Unveiled During ‘Samsung Unpacked 2023’
If rumor holds, Samsung is about to unveil its latest and greatest devices: The Galaxy S23, the next iteration of its flagship smartphone line, and the Galaxy Book3, an upgrade to the company’s laptop offering. What will Samsung reveal during Unpacked 2023?
While the company has made no official announcements yet, the expectation is we’ll see new smartphones and new laptops from Samsung.
For the Galaxy S23, it looks like Samsung will keep with tradition and offer three different variants: The standard S23, the larger S23+, and the phablet-like S23 Ultra. One big change expected this year is for the S23 and S23+ to gain the camera array of the S22 Ultra. The S22 Ultra sports four cameras rather than three, including a 108MP (megapixel) wide angle sensor and a second telephoto camera, which will be welcome additions to the S23 and S23+. For those who upgrade to the S23 Ultra, however, you might just get a 200MP (megapizel) camera.
The Galaxy Book3, on the other hand, is rumored to come in Pro, 360, Pro 360, and Ultra options, with varying Intel chip configs and sizes. Like the Galaxy Book2, the Galaxy Book3’s 360 models allow you to use the laptop as a tablet, and vice versa, while the Ultra could offer an i9 Intel chip with an NVIDIA RTX 4070 with a 16-inch OLED display to boot.
Where to steam Unpacked 2023
Samsung will be holding Unpacked 2023 in San Fransisco on Wednesday, Feb. 1 at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT). Since most of us will not be attending in person, the next best way to watch is online. Samsung will be hosting a live stream on its official Newsroom website, and it’s likely the company will put up a second stream on its official YouTube channel in the hours leading up to the event.
