		<description>I saw this movie the day you posted this review.  I came out of it absolutely stunned.  There&#039;s so much to it: part of it is Shakesperian tragedy, part of it is a visual essay on life under communism.

Another part is the commentary on a regime that&#039;s about to collapse.  No one believes in it - even the guys at the top.

I appreciate that the idea of the good Stasi is absurd and hard to stomach.  So long as it&#039;s seen as just a plot device - a window into another world - I can forgive the makers.
