Yeah, I knew it. I'm really going to have to stop pretending to myself that you're Bambi and accept you just as you are. Oh well, perhaps I can sit and sob with Humph & Ingrid while you roll around the floor cackling maniacally at the sad little losers.

As for your more gutter-minded readers on reflection I remember that I probably should count myself in there. But then, didn't Wilde say "we are all gutter-minded, but some of us are looking at your RSS" or something like that anyway?

Alas, there is quite a bit of post-modern irony in my choice of movies, which the choice of TV shows should reveal in greater measure.

Gutter-minded readers? Well, I never...

Well, thanks, I was hoping that this round would pass me by completely, but I'll have a go.

Our greatest area of commonality is your choice of movies - I knew there was a dewy-eyed romantic just below the hard-nosed, gun-toting exterior though I shouldn't be surprised if there's some post-modern irony that I'm completely missing.

I would suggest a DVD session and I'll bring the kleenex, but that could be so easily misconstrued by some of your more gutter-minded readers.
